Description
We use the same care setting up Roosebeck dulcimers as we do as our own Cedar Creek Branded dulcimers. We take time to level frets, lower the nut and bridge, adjust the intonation, and address any other set-up work that a dulcimer might need before it finds a new home.
The “Grace” Dulcimer features a vaulted fretboard, which adds a lot of vibration to the solid spruce top. It has a neatly curved hourglass shape. The back, sides, top, and fretboard are solid wood. Its tail piece has a silver color and is shaped like a crown. The soundboard is spruce and has a charming wood skirt design on both ends as well as 4 soundhole openings. This model also features 4 mechanical geared right angle tuners with a 14:1 ratio and has 4 strings, including 2 melody strings, 1 middle string and 1 bass drone string. We include the Baird Mountain Method Book, pick pack, noter, numbers, and a couple extra strings with the dulcimer purchase.
